What to expect Sitting in a blind, or tree stand, can be long and boring, but it has been proven time and time again that this will give you the best opportunity at your "dream buck". In our hunting area you just never know when that next great granddad is going to appear in front of your blind. So be prepared to sit all day long - and pay attention! Many times hunters have nodded off and when they awoke there were deer in front of them. Remember Patience, Patience, Patience! |

You'll also have the opportunity to join in rattling for deer and doing some exciting day float trips on some of the rivers in the area.

Photos Tips Here are a couple of tips for taking the photo of a lifetime. We all want to preserve these memories so make sure the sun is behind the photographer. Clean all the blood off your deer with "wet ones". Make sure his tongue is in his mouth and the mouth is closed. Don't wrap your hands all the around the antler as this just hides the antler. Position the deer in a natural laying pose, with the legs tucked under him not all sprawled out. Try to picture what the deer would look like if he were bedded "ALIVE" and make him look that way. Yours photos are a part of your hunt so take the time to take good photos. |

Trophy care Once you have your Dream Buck back at camp the utmost care will be given to your trophy. Complete caping will be done at this time, (eyes, ears, lips, etc), then your trophy will be salted down, and tagged. Many outfits just take the uncompleted cape and freeze it, "Good thing for these people that the airlines never lose your luggage"!!!!! I would hate to see what your cape would look like if it spent a week in a terminal in Florida. So salt is the best as the temperature will not affect a salted cape. |

Recommended Clothing and Equipment List
| |
The above list is a suggested guide for your equipment you should bring on your hunt with Clarke's Trophy Whitetails LTD. This should be considered a minimum, as you could encounter temperatures as low as -30 F. Although this is a rare occasion one should be ready especially on the late November hunts.
